The EPA will hold a public hearing on its Renewable Fuel Standard volume obligations on August 1 in Washington, D.C. The agency will take public comment on the proposed 2018 RVOs and the 2019 biomass-based diesel RVO, which the proposal keeps at 2.1 billion gallons.
The hearing is a procedural step before the final rule, so it is unlikely to move prices by itself, though any changes to the proposal could affect soyoil and corn ethanol demand.
