The EU has exempted eight Argentine biodiesel producers from anti-subsidy duties, following an agreement reached the previous month to end the dispute. Argentina is the world's top soyoil producer, and soyoil is the main feedstock for its biodiesel.
Exempted producers can ship biodiesel into the EU without duties, adding supply that competes with European biofuel output. This is mildly bearish for soybean oil demand and prices.
