Corn shipments from Ukrainian seaports fell to 592 thousand tons for April 6-12, down 26% week on week. Total grain shipments were 777 thousand tons, 20% below the same week of 2018, with wheat down 10% to 156 thousand tons.
Iran, China and Egypt were the top importers.
Weaker Ukrainian port loadings reduce near-term corn and wheat export availability from the Black Sea, a modest support for global corn and wheat prices and for feed grain import costs.
