Ukraine's staple grain exports for 2021/22 reached 17.47 mln t as of 22 October, up 11% year on year. Wheat shipments made up most of the volume, and the agriculture ministry's memorandum limits wheat exports to 25.3 mln t.
The USDA left its Ukrainian wheat export forecast unchanged at 23.5 mln t.
Shipments running ahead of last year are steady export flow, but the 25.3 mln t cap limits how much Ukrainian wheat and corn can reach world markets. This leaves prices broadly stable.
