Krishi Jagran reports that Telangana poultry feed costs have jumped from about 13 to 16 per kilogram in a few days. Rice mills stopped grinding paddy because the state has not issued a levy, which cut rice bran supply and forced the industry to source bran from Punjab and Andhra Pradesh.
Chicken prices are rising as a result.
