Waterlogging and high soil moisture delayed some planting in New South Wales and Victoria, while central South Australia had not yet had its autumn break.
Planting delays in eastern Australia and dry conditions in South Australia could trim crop yields, a mildly bullish factor for Australian wheat and barley if sustained.
