The EIA released its Annual Energy Outlook 2023 with an Issues in Focus section on LNG exports. The section adds three side cases covering low and high international gas prices and faster export facility builds.
It finds that LNG export volumes affect average US gas prices.
The outlook gives a longer-term view that LNG export growth will shape domestic gas prices, which feeds into energy and fertilizer costs for feed producers.
