OPEC+ agreed over a weekend to raise production by 548,000 bpd in August, after 411,000 bpd for May through July and 138,000 bpd for April. The eight members have unwound 1.919 million bpd of their 2.2 million bpd voluntary cut.
The continued supply increases add barrels to a market that is already being loosened, which is bearish for crude and related energy costs.
