The GEOGLAM Crop Monitor for Early Warning, published 2 October 2025 with conditions as of 28 September, reports heavy rains and flooding disrupting crops in northern East Africa and favourable harvests in West Africa. Wheat in the Middle East, North Africa and Southern Africa is developing under generally favourable conditions, while Kazakhstan harvests were delayed by rain.
Mostly favourable conditions in major wheat and cereal areas point to adequate supply, which is mildly bearish for feed grain prices, though flooding in parts of Africa and Kazakhstan harvest delays add some localized risk.
