EIA data showed U.S. ethanol production averaged 1.11 million barrels per day, down slightly on the week on tighter margins. Ethanol stocks fell 171,000 barrels week over week but remain above year-ago levels, and exports averaged 104,000 barrels per day.
Weekly production and stocks data show ethanol grind holding near high levels, supporting corn usage and DDGS output. Margin compression from higher corn prices could limit further grind gains.
