Finland cut its 2022 and 2023 biofuel blending mandate by 7.5 percentage points to 12%, the largest such cut in the EU so far. The move follows a European Commission statement allowing member states to relax mandates to ease land-use pressure, and other states such as Hungary are reviewing their obligations.
