The Kremlin said Putin is ready to facilitate unfettered grain exports from Ukraine's ports. Russia and Ukraine together supply 29% of global wheat exports and 80% of sunflower oil exports.
Ukraine is also a major corn and barley exporter.
A credible route for Black Sea grain would release stranded supply and weigh on wheat and corn prices. The size of the effect depends on whether the offer is implemented.
