Fastmarkets reports that world soybean production has fallen over the last two years, mainly from severe weather including La Niña, which cut South American yields and affected US output. Argentine crushing slowed, with volumes down about ten percent year on year in July, and Chinese crush margins were negative.
Lower world supply and slower crush cut meal output, while expected US crush expansion and biofuel-driven soyoil demand point to weaker soybean meal prices and firmer soyoil.
