Mexico formally declared ineffective two measures from the 2023 corn decree on February 5 after the US won a USMCA dispute. The measures were a ban on GE corn in dough and tortillas and a phase-out of GE corn in other food uses and animal feed.
The panel ruled in favor of the US on all seven claims.
