Animal Nutrition VAP

KEY SUPPLEMENTS TO MAINTAIN FUNCTIONALITY OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM The immune system is composed of a series of biological structures and mechanisms to defend against diseases. When signs of a weakened immune system are shown, it would be easier for pathogens to invade the human or animal body and cause diseases. Feed additives formulated with VAP helps to coordinate different components of the immune system for reinforced functioning. Found in natural materials such as mushrooms, colostrum, and certain Chinese medicine, VAP is known as Versatile Adhesion Protein, which can be 100% safe mixing with all livestock/poultry/aquaculture feeds as additives. PREVENTING VIRAL ENTRY FROM THE MUCOUS MEMBRANES Almost all kinds of pathogens and viruses invade a living body via the mucous membranes. During the “latency period” or “incubation period”, since the amount of existing virus is below the threshold for detection, symptoms usually could not be sensed. After the virus massively replicates its genome and becomes numerous enough to paralyze the immune system or cause immunosuppression, the inevitable outbreak and mass mortality are on the verge. Adding VAP and ImmuniVAP as feed additives helps the immune system to get ahead of the game to inhibit viral invasion through the mucous membranes. According to our on-site experience at the farms, VAP and ImmuniVAP have been contributing to contain the whole viral disease process out of the reinforced mucosal immunity.
