ECB holds rates but it's not a 'non-event,' economists say. Here's why

The ECB kept its key rate at 2% for the fifth consecutive meeting and said inflation should stabilise at its 2% target while warning of trade and geopolitical uncertainty. The euro was flat against the dollar at $1.179 after the decision.
