The Polish law firm CRIDO reports that the Commission is preparing specifications for the EUDR and may expand the product list. The amendment postponed application by 12 months to 30 December 2026 for large and medium firms.
The Commission is expected to present a report by the end of April, with no changes expected to the core text.
A broader product list could extend EUDR compliance to more palm oil and coffee products, adding friction to EU trade in these goods. Commodity price impact is limited while the regulation's start date is still months away.
