Ústredný kontrolný a skúšobný ústav poľnohospodársky v Bratislave

The CCPCA is a state budget organization directly managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic. The basic task of the Institute is the performance of state professional control and testing under the conditions of the agriculture department as well as state professional supervision over the quality of inputs into agriculture (agrochemicals, feeds, etc.). The activity of the CCPPP in crop and livestock production is thematic on the soil, crop varieties, seeds and seedlings, nutrition and plant protection, indoor and outdoor quarantine, feed, animal nutrition as well as agricultural, industrial fertilizers, pesticides and feeds. In addition to the above-mentioned main tasks of the control and testing activities, the departments of the Institute will also fulfill an important mission in the field of creating and innovating legislative norms in the field of their activities, development and verification of new methodologies and methodological procedures. An important area is the extensive publishing, lecturing activities of the Institute's specialists, expert opinions and expert advice. The Institute has multilateral professional contacts with foreign partners and institutions in the field of testing and control.
