Akita Foods produces, processes, and sells shell eggs and branded specialty eggs for retail, foodservice, and food manufacturers in Japan. The company operates a vertically integrated system covering breeder flocks, hatching, rearing, feed milling, layer farms, grading and packing centers, and distribution. It runs its own laboratory, CAF Laboratories, which supports its proprietary Akita Foods HACCP program with multi‑stage Salmonella checks and traceability back to feed ingredients.
