Oil prices fell on Friday for a weekly loss of over 6 percent after the U.S. granted waivers allowing eight importers to keep buying Iranian oil. Investors worried about crude oversupply.
Brent settled at $72.83 a barrel.
Sanctions waivers allow Iranian barrels to keep flowing, adding to global crude supply and pushing prices lower.
