EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt pledged to meet the November deadline for setting Renewable Volume Obligations under the RFS. The Renewable Fuels Association welcomed the new administration's support for the program.
Reliable and timely RVO setting supports biofuel feedstock demand, which affects soybean oil and corn ethanol co-products. The pledge is a policy signal rather than a new volume change.
