The Farmer's Exchange Online USDA Sees Less Milk in 2017-18 and Raises Class 3 Price Forecast

The USDA's June WASDE cut its 2017 and 2018 US milk production forecasts by 200 and 300 million pounds from the previous month, as slower per-cow gains outweigh more cows. The agency also raised cheese, butter and nonfat dry milk price forecasts on strong demand and reduced output.
