Brazil's second-crop (safrinha) corn harvest is advancing, with 5% of the national crop harvested, slightly above the four-year average, as Paraná catches up after wet weather. Mato Grosso's crop is 61% sold, ahead of last season's pace, and farmers are benefiting from a stronger dollar.
Steady harvest progress and a large safrinha crop increase export supply ahead of the July to September shipping window, pressuring world corn prices.
