Vietnam Food Association chairman Huynh The Nang said Vietnamese rice demand is expected to be stable in the third quarter. Vietnamese traders won 175,000 tonnes of 2% broken rice in a Philippine NFA tender held July 25, at prices of roughly $354 to $370 per tonne FOB.
Steady export demand from the Philippines and stable Vietnamese supply outlook support Asian rice export prices without a clear new shock.
