Possible WTO action, if EU's Renewable Energy Directive exclude palm oil

Malaysia and Indonesia say they may file a WTO complaint if the European Commission adopts a proposal excluding palm biofuels from the Renewable Energy Directive. The EU Parliament's environment committee voted to exclude all palm biofuels.

Other vegetable oils would remain included.
