Brazil's real traded near $0.27 on Tuesday, its lowest level in more than two years. The currency has fallen about 10% against the dollar this year amid election uncertainty.
A weaker real makes Brazilian soybeans, corn and meal cheaper for export buyers, which tends to pressure world prices and increase Brazilian selling. It also raises the local-currency cost of imported feed inputs.
