U.S. Dollar Remains on Front Foot after Federal Reserve Upgrades Economic Forecasts and Flags More Rate Hikes to Come: Analysts Give their Views

The Fed raised the funds rate to 2% to 2.25%, its eighth hike since 2015, and dropped 'accommodative' from its statement. It raised its 2018 and 2019 growth forecasts to 3.1% and 2.5%, and its dot plot still points to rates peaking near 3.4% in 2020.
