EU countries called to step up actions on sustainable palm oil

European Palm Oil Alliance members met in Madrid and called for food companies and retailers to meet the 2020 goal of using only certified sustainable palm oil. Industry figures said 74% of palm oil entering Europe for food was certified sustainable in 2017.
