House and Senate agriculture committee leaders released the text of the bipartisan 2018 Farm Bill conference report on December 10, 2018. The bill covers commodity programs, the safety net, and dairy provisions over the next five years.
The bill sets multi-year farm support and safety-net levels, which affect long-run planting incentives for feed crops. The near-term price impact is modest because the measure mainly provides income support.
