Euro Sterling, Euro Swiss Exchange Rates Plunge As Disappointing GDP Confirms Slow Eurozone Economic Growth

The euro fell sharply against the dollar, sterling and the Swiss franc after weak German GDP and Eurozone quarterly growth data. Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann also signaled concern about slowing growth and inflation.

The euro-dollar rate traded near $1.1447.
