Staple grain shipments through Ukrainian seaports totalled 1.13 million tons in the week of October 12-18, up 47% from the previous week. Wheat rose 20%, corn rose 68% to 473 thousand tons, and barley grew fivefold.
Ukraine's harvest was 86% complete.
Rising port throughput during harvest signals larger export supply, a modestly bearish factor for Black Sea wheat and corn prices.
