Domestic poultry production is ramping up: USDA

USDA's December Livestock, Dairy and Poultry Outlook shows US broiler production in October rose 4.8% year over year to 4.096 billion pounds. The agency expects expanded output into 2020, with the fourth-quarter broiler forecast raised to 11.125 billion pounds, helped by reopened Chinese demand for US chicken.
