Rabobank says the DXY dollar index turned lower after the dovish FOMC on January 29 but remains above its January 21 level. Its analysts argue that expected Fed rate cuts may not weaken the dollar much because weaker US growth could drive safe-haven demand.
They expect any USD losses to be moderate.
Limited dollar weakness means limited support for dollar-priced grain, meal and energy prices, keeping the currency a modest factor for feed buyers.
