U.S. Natural Gas Prices to Average $3.40 in January as Domestic, Overseas Demand Climbs, Says EIA

The EIA's September Short-Term Energy Outlook projects Henry Hub spot prices averaging $3.40/MMBtu in January 2021 and above $3 for all of 2021. U.S. working gas storage was 13% above the five-year average at the end of August, and LNG exports rose 19% in August to 3.7 Bcf/d.
