Mosaic announced that the US International Trade Commission found subsidized phosphate imports from Morocco and Russia had injured the US phosphate industry. Cash deposit rates are expected to be about 20% for OCP, 9% and 47% for PhosAgro and EuroChem, and 17% for other Russian producers.
The duties restrict low-priced phosphate imports into the US, which supports domestic DAP prices and gives Mosaic a stronger position in the US market.
