Chinese importers are reportedly buying Ukrainian barley for August-October shipment, with about 3 to 10 cargoes traded at roughly $284-$287/mt CFR. Barley offers have fallen about $20/mt over the past week and a half as harvest pressure builds.
Strong Chinese import interest supports Black Sea barley export demand, but falling offers as harvest arrives point to softer near-term barley prices.
