Farm Progress analyst Kent Thiesse says 2021 corn and soybean yields will be highly variable, especially in drought-hit areas of Minnesota, western Iowa and the Dakotas. Late-August rain helped some areas, but it may have come too late for others.
Uneven yield prospects across the northern Corn Belt sustain uncertainty and modest upside risk for corn and soybean prices.
