South Korea confirmed highly pathogenic avian flu on a Yeongam farm, where all 36,000 laying hens were culled, and on a Cheonan farm where 100,800 hens and 230,000 nearby birds were culled. Authorities are trying to downplay fears of renewed egg price increases.
