The Global Oil & Fats Business outlook says Indonesian palm oil exports fell to a 12-year low in 2021/22 after export taxes and an April 2022 export ban. It forecasts global oilseed output up 8% in 2022/23, led by larger South American and US soybean crops and higher Canadian and EU rapeseed.
A rebound in Indonesian palm exports and a larger 2022/23 oilseed supply would ease vegetable oil and meal prices, while higher China soybean demand offsets part of that.
