Statistics Canada data showed August canola crush fell 4.4% year on year to 633k tons, with oil output at 262k tons and meal at 383k tons. The daily market wrap recorded wheat up sharply overnight, soybeans and soymeal firmer, and mixed weekly and monthly moves across grains and oilseeds.
Lower canola crush reduces meal output, modestly supportive for canola meal prices. The rest is routine price commentary with no new cause for the moves.
