A Bloomberg MLIV Pulse survey of 331 professional investors finds most expect the Fed to cut rates to 3% or below and are negative on the dollar, with many saying the priced rate path is too high. Investors cite yen or yuan appreciation as possible drivers of dollar decline.
A widely expected dollar decline would tend to support dollar-priced commodities and improve import demand from emerging markets, though the survey reflects sentiment rather than a confirmed policy change.
