National diesel average sees highest weekly increase in more than a year, reports EIA

The EIA reported that the US national average diesel price rose nearly 10 cents in the week of July 24 to $3.905 a gallon. It is the largest weekly gain since March 2022 and the second-largest of 2023.

The average had been flat at $3.806 for the two prior weeks.
