The USDA raised its 2024/25 US soybean ending stocks forecast by 10 million bushels to 455 million bushels. The increase follows a 10 million bushel cut to the 2023/24 crush forecast, to 2.29 billion bushels, due to weaker domestic meal demand.
Higher projected carryout and lower domestic crush point to softer soybean and soybean meal prices, while strong meal exports partly offset the demand loss.
