The Philippine National Food Authority rejected Thai and Vietnamese bids in its second G2G auction for 203,000 mt of 25% broken rice, as offers of about $480-483/mt exceeded its $447.88 reference price. The unawarded volume was left unfilled.
Failed tenders signal Philippine buyers resisting high prices, which could keep import demand cautious and cap Asian export prices.
