United States Prevailed in USMCA Dispute Against Mexico on Genetically Modified Corn

The US prevailed on all claims in a USMCA panel dispute against Mexico's 2023 decree restricting GM corn in food and feed. The panel's final report was issued December 20, 2024.

중요한 이유

A legal win that protects the largest foreign market for US yellow corn, which is mostly used for feed, supports corn export demand.
