OPEC oil output falls in December on UAE and Iran, survey finds

A survey showed OPEC crude output in December fell by 50,000 bpd from November to 26.46 million bpd. The largest decline came from the UAE.

OPEC+ had decided to postpone its planned output increase until April.

Lower OPEC output in December tightens the supply picture slightly, which is mildly supportive for crude. Energy costs feed into diesel and freight prices for feed buyers.
