StoneX's weekly FX outlook says the dollar weakened globally during the week of June 23-27, 2025, as Middle East tensions eased and bets on Fed rate cuts grew. The Brazilian real closed at R$5.4831 per dollar, down 0.8% on the week, with the DXY at 97.3.
A weaker dollar and stronger real reduce the local-currency cost of imported feed inputs for Brazil while making Brazilian soybean, corn and meal exports less competitive in dollar terms.
