The September 2025 WASDE raised planted US corn acreage to 98.7 million acres, the highest since 1933, lifting projected production to a record 16.814 billion bushels. USDA also raised export projections to a record 2.975 billion bushels and ending stocks remain at 2.110 billion bushels.
Record corn supply and a heavy carryout are bearish for feed grain prices, though strong export demand provides some offset.
