The US dollar fell against the Vietnamese dong on January 27, with Vietcombank selling the greenback at VND26,280. Globally the dollar hovered near four-year lows after Trump brushed off its weakness, lifting the euro above $1.20 and the yen.
A weaker dollar lifts the euro, yen and other currencies, which makes US commodity exports pricier for non-dollar buyers and can support dollar-denominated grain and oilseed prices in the short run.
