U.S. Corn Secures Continued Access to $5 Billion Mexican Corn Export Market - U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council

The U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council says Mexico repealed its GM corn restrictions in February 2025, keeping the Mexican market open for U.S. corn. The change followed a USMCA panel ruling in December 2024 that found Mexico's measures lacked scientific basis.

U.S. corn exports to Mexico reached a record 23.5 million metric tons in MY 2023/24.
